“Passion” is defined as a “powerful or compelling emotion or feeling,” an “object of intense desire, ardent affection, or enthusiasm” (according to dictionary.reference.com). We all have our own ideas of passion but it is certainly behind some of the greatest personal transformation, works of art, music, poetry, technological advancement, and social change the world has seen. Music has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. For other people it is a sport, community projects, looking after animals, conservation, or looking after the environment. Whatever yours is, embrace it and make the most of it. A life without passion is merely existence.
